Short Biography:
Born on Ord Trasi Tricatan spent the first part of his young life not really doing much at all. Being the son of a rich business man on his homeworld he wasn't really required to do much anyway, so instead he spent most of his time fooling around and playing with expensive toys. Funnily enough he experimented so much with computers, security systems and the like that by the age of 15 he was already somewhat of an expert in these subjects, although he would never confess to it. When he was just nineteen his father died and Tricatan was forced to take over as head of the family business. Unfortunately he didn't have the studies or experience necessary to do so, and, afraid of failure, instead decided to escape. He incomprehensibly found work, his first job, on a cargo freighter leaving the planet as a system's technician, but as soon as they came to a safe port they got rid of him for his lack of motivation and work skills. After a few more similar adventures he turned up on a freighter which was secretly smuggling goods for the rebellion, en route to a secret rendezvous point. Quite by chance Tricatan discovered that one of the crew members was an Imperial Spy, ready to transmit the rendezvous co-ordinates to the Empire, which was obviously on hand for a quick attack. The freighter managed to escape the ambush, and as a result Tricatan was hailed as a hero and a saviour, a title he didn't dislike in the least. But this experience changed something inside him, and it wasn't until he was at the Rebel base where the goods were destined for that he realised what it was: All around him he saw people working, struggling, fighting, and giving their lives for a cause other than profit. This confused him, so instead of leaving he decided to remain and help. Unfortunately his customs didn't change much, and despite a few out or the ordinary circumstances he pretty much didn't do anything at all. He did however stand out in a few tasks like Tactical and Security Systems Code Breaking. And it was these skills which actually got him more involved in more important tasks, as he began to be assigned to special missions. On one of these he formed part of a Commando unit, and was in charge of breaking the code to enter a highly guarded Imperial space station. The mission was difficult, and Tricatan did his job well and on time for everything to run as smoothly as possible, but there were many casualties and Tricatan found himself having to fight his way back out to escape. This brought some attention on him from many Commando Training Officers who began showing him the ropes of hand to hand combat as well as other skills. He turned out to be a quick learner, and soon reached the requirements necessary to form part of the most important and skilled commando units around. He wasn't exactly very happy about this but, but managed to avoid being assigned to too many missions as he concentrated on his more technical skills. It was these that Zhom Kh'Arli focused on to include him in the highly important mission which would eventually give birth to Lynx.
Although Tircatan's nickname has remained he is not nearly as lazy as he used to be, although it is more common to see him slouched on a sofa or in his quarters rather than training!
