Short Biography:

     Born and brought up in Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine, Jra very early on proved to be one of the fiercest and strongest weequay around. Selected to be one of Jabba's personal guards he never got the chance to prove his worthiness and barely escaped with his own life in the wake of Luke Skywalker's rescue of his friends, which also ended with Jabba's life. Angry and bitter he wondered through the Dune Sea with a handful of survivors, and became increasingly sickened by their bickering and backstabbing techniques they employed to get their hands on the little food and water available. Slicer was the only one to emerge from the desert alive, his trusted axe always by his side.

     Not wanting to remain on Tatooine, as there was really no future left for him in Jabba's palace, he head towards Mos Eisley, and began offering his services as a mercenary. Surprisingly enough those most interested in his services were the Rebels, and took no time to recruit him to their side. Discovering a new life amongst people who were more worried about what happened around them instead of themselves Jra began looking at life in a different manner. He passed his training with flying colours, and in the first few skirmishes he was involved in proved his courage, and especially stood out for his resoluteness and fierceness. His companionship was a little lacking, but at least he tried to seem friendly at times. Kh'Arli was forced to include him in Lynx after receiving a direct order from Mon Mothma herself, realising that a Weequay in an important unit such as Lynx would do much to sway Jra's homeworld to join the New Republic. This has created a lot of tension between Slicer and Kh'Arli, and no-one knows how this relationship will evolve.

     Jra's callsign is obviously derived from his great skill at wielding his Weequay Axe, a weapon of great power when used in closed quarters.
