Short Biography:

     Zaman was born, raised, and will most probably die on a Spacestation, although he prefers to spend his time travelling through space. From a very young age Zaman was already getting himself into a lot of mischief, despite his two older brothers' attempts to control him, and already began selling stolen goods to whomever would buy them at the age of nine. On his twelfth birthday Zaman decided to treat himself with a short trip around the Spacestation he was living on by 'borrowing' some poor traveller's Y-Wing. Needless to say he crashed it inside the hangar, nearly killing himself and destroying half the Spacestation in the process. This, however, would not hinder his progress, and before he was fully recovered from his injuries was back to his old antics, disappearing with a group of not very reputable individuals thought to be pirates. He reappeared five years later with a few more scars than when he left, and a new set of skills which soon gave him access to the Station's equipment and food supplies. So it wasn't much of a surprise when just a few days after returning he was gone again, 80% of the Station's food and medical supplies amongst other things also gone.

     He spent the next few years on a barely functional Skipray Blastboat he and his new 'colleagues' stole from some rich merchant, raiding small colonies, outposts, broken-down ships, and whatever crossed their path. He even tried turning into a Bounty Hunter, but that got him nowhere, and he was forced to revert back to his pirating just to keep up with the costs. Teaming up with a childhood friend he continued to deal in contraband and other risky businesses, but soon afterwards began getting bored and also began suffering a change of mind, questioning his own methods and more importantly his motivations. Coincidentally he began coming across more and more ships and colonies attacked and destroyed by the Empire, and in some strange way this sickened him in a way it hadn't done so before. A turning point in this transformation was when he and his colleague came a cross a semi-destroyed ship drifting in space and with no signs of life. They docked with it and sporting E.V.A. suits went aboard. Once inside the ship they saw it was a Duro Training Ship, where those of the Duro race where taught and practised their hyperspacing abilities. Obviously they had suffered some sort of attack that had caused great hull damage, venting precious air into space. They looked around for anything valuable which they might salvage, but finding little of any worth were soon on their way out. Just as they were leaving Zaman saw how one of the Duro he thought to be dead moved. He immediately dropped what he was carrying and went over to help the injured alien. Soon they were en route to the closest Rebel Base where Zaman had a few contacts, with four Duro onboard in need of urgent medical attention. Zaman remained at the base to see how the patients progressed, but unfortunately all but one of them died. In his transformation Zaman tried to befriend this Duro to try and help him, but the alien was too distraught for the deaths of his friends to let himself be comforted, and returned as soon as he could to his homeworld.

     Zaman on the other hand remained at the Rebel base deciding to do something productive for a change. He became an active member of the Rebellion, and organised smuggling routes to and from Imperial controlled systems. But he soon got bored of this and decided to search for a new activity he could carry out. His search was a short one as he soon discovered he had a knack for fighting and assault missions. After going through some training he formed part of numerous Commando units, and it was the combination of his cunning and resourcefulness that pulled him through more than one tight situation. But it wasn't until he was reunited with the Duro he had saved that his character transformation was complete. The two became friends, and were glad to be included in the same unit after being selected for the special mission which would later give birth to the Lynx Commando Unit.

     Zaman's nickname, Pac-Man, comes from his obsessive compulsion to eat snacks all day long, and even during meals!
