Short Biography:

     The eldest brother in a family of twelve, Pier was at the age of 14 forced to take over as head of the family after his parents and one year old sister were killed in an Imperial attack on his homecity. Not being very bright, and because of his age, he was only capable of finding work which required physical strength, something he fortunately didn't lack. By the time he was 18 he was something of a celebrity where he lived because of his strength. The Empire showed more than a glancing interest in his abilities, and continued to try and recruit him despite his many rejections. On one of these ocasions the stormtroopers accompanying the recruiting officer got a bit nervous at Pier's aggressive tone and tried to subdue him physically. Pier quickly and a bit too effectively disposed of them, and told the Imperial officer to stick his offers where the sun didn't shine. Not long afterwards a full regiment of stormtroopers appeared on Pier's doorstep, blasters in hand and with the clear intention of taking him with them whatever the cost. After a brief but fierce fight they managed to subdue the powerful man, and took him away. But a group of Rebels, obviously also keeping a close eye on Pier stepped in to rescue him. Making quick their escape they had to leave Pier's homeworld, but promised to take care of his younger brothers and sisters. Unfortunately the Empire must have thought of this too, because not even Rebel Intelligence could find any trace of Pier's family, and it is feared that they might be being held as prisoners or even have been executed. Swearing revenge Pier put all his energies into training with the Rebel Ground Assault Troops, although he has been known to act a bit wildly at times.

     But his abilities didn't end with his incredible strength. One day, while on a training mission, the jedi Eadrain, assigned to his unit, discovered Pier had latent telepathic abilities, and helped him develop and strengthen this other great asset of Pier's. He also studied communications, and became the first human capable of carrying the heavy E-Web blaster single-handedly.

     Barely eight months after joining the Rebel cause Pier, and also Eadrain, were selected to form part of the commando unit which would later transform into Lynx. During this mission the commando unit had to take control of a very important Imperial Corvette. After the battle was fought, and the Corvette was in Rebel hands, most of the commandos used in its capture were forced to remain onboard it while it underwent a complete refurbishment which would transform it into a Rebel ship. Due to the cramped conditions, and because of his size, Pier one day mentioned that he felt he was in a Dog Pound, and since then this is how Lynx has unofficially been referred as.

     With regards to his nickname, Pier proudly says it belongs to a gigantic mythical monster of his homeworld said to bring destruction and death to those who oppose him.
