Short Biography:
Born on one of the space stations orbiting his homeworld, Abiba had a pretty normal upbringing for a Duro. At the age of 24 standard years, during a training flight where Abiba and some other Duro trainees were putting to good use their hyperspacing skills, a rogue asteroid slammed into their ship, rendering it practically useless. With half his friends dead, the other half badly injured, and the ship venting precious air into outer space, the ship and its crew was doomed. But moments before everything was lost a Skipray Blastboat came out of hyperspace almost on top of the dying ship. But not all was well, as the ship belonged to a pair of pirates. Believing they would be able to salvage some of the remains of the ship before it inevitably broke apart the pirates donned their E.V.A. suits and boarded the ship. Discovering there was little of any worth onboard, they gathered these few things up and were about to leave the ship when one of the pirates saw one of the passengers move. Without thinking twice about it he dropped what he was carrying and instead went over to help the injured Duro, much to his companion's disbelief. The pirate in question was none other than Zaman Orcasalinamoner, also known as Pac-Man. Eventually al those that were still alive ended up on the pirate's ship, and soon it was headed towards a nearby Rebel base where Zaman had some contacts. Only Abiba survived the unfortunate accident. Feeling somewhat responsible for him, Zaman tried to befriend him, but Abiba, too stricken to want any contact with aliens, returned to his homeworld.
Six months later, and still feeling a miasma of emotions he couldn't control, possibly triggered by the death of his friends, Abiba returned to the Rebel base to see if he could find any answers to what was happening to him. But when he arrived at the base's location he found nothing but debris. With nowhere to go, and unwilling to return home empty-handed, he set out toward the closest inhabited colony. There he was approached by Rebel agents, obviously curious as to what a Duro was doing so far from his homeworld alone, and were surprised to learn he had been looking for them. Needless to say he was accepted into their ranks, and ended up as a shuttle pilot for a commando unit. His eagerness and skills also earned him a fighting position amongst this unit, and he proved on many ocasions to be a more than worthy fighter. During the nine months he spent with this unit he managed to find some answers to the many questions which had aroused in him since the death of his friends, and managed to get his emotions under control. It was at this moment that he came across the man who had saved his life: Zaman Orcasalinamoner. They served together for a few months, went their separate ways for a few more, and were finally reunited when both got a call to form part of the unit which would later transform into Lynx.
