Short Biography:

     Waikachan has many reasons to hate the empire. One of them is the enslavement his people have been submitted to by them, but the foremost reason is the slaughter of his family when they arrived on Kashyyyk for a new load of slaves. Left for dead Waikachan was rescued by a force of commandos which had been sent to his settlement to search for survivors. Badly hurt and close to death Waikachan spent more than a month on the border with death, but finally managed to pull through and come out of the deep coma he had been in. But when he awoke he had lost almost all of his memory, and couldn't remember anything at all. He even forgot he was a Wookie, and when he finally saw himself in a mirror thought he was some kind of monster. But the sight of another Wookie seemed to wake a part of his memory that then lead to him gaining full grasp of his memories. Pledging his life to those who had saved him Waikachan began learning everything he could to help his rebel rescuers. One of the things in which he became an expert was at targeting and shooting. He also proved himself a valiant fighter and for many years served in the rebel infantry. A quiet creature, even for a Wookie, Waikachan befriended Julian "Midnight" de Santos, a person very much like himself in many aspects, and with whom he has created a link which goes beyond friendship and nears that of brothers. On many occasions Waikachan and Julian had been on missions captained by Zhom Kh'Arli, who later asked them to join the ranks of the newly formed Lynx Commando. They were only two of four not on the capture mission which were later included in Lynx.
