Short Biography

Jyn is a young human woman with dark hair and eyes. She's very no-nonsense and doesn't bother with a nickname, which is not to say that her squad-mates won't saddle her with one whether she likes it or not. :-) She grew up on the industrial world of Sator, which is largely filled with factories and does a lot of military manufacturing for the Empire. After getting caught up in a street insurrection against the Empire, she hired out as a mercenary ground soldier for a while but eventually wound up in the Alliance, and from there was assigned to Lynx due to her, um, unusual talents. She's not as good as some at straight hand-to-hand fighting, but has a talent for scouting, infiltrating, breaking-and-entering... basically any kind of dirty tricks there are. (she has a bit of a background as a petty criminal, but for obvious reasons she doesn't discuss that much.) As far as personality goes, she's pretty straightforward - not arrogant, but knows very well what she's good at, and she WILL get offended if anybody questions her skills at it.      She has a "pet" of sorts who bears a little resemblance to a dog. Jyn travels with Miklas, a large white quadruped who largely stays in Jyn's quarters aboard the Post-Haste. Miklas is NOT empathic, force-sensitive, or human-level intelligent, but he is approximately 75 kilos of carnivore and very protective of Jyn, which makes him an asset in certain types of combat.
